As an avid musician and music lover since childhood, Gillian has always had a special place in her heart for the importance of sounds and music. Gillian discovered the field of Audiology while completing her undergraduate degree thesis at Memorial University and went on to obtain her Masters of Clinical Science from Western University. Upon graduation, she returned home to work at Maico’s Corner Brook clinic in August, 2024.  Gillian has a passion for helping people hear the sounds they love most – their loved ones, birds chirping in the morning, and their favorite music!

Gillian strives to help patients communicate effectively using a variety of techniques and technology, and encourages her patients to advocate for themselves and embrace their hearing health journey.

Outside of work, Gillian dabbles in the arts as a musician and a hobby painter. She also loves to hike, kayak, golf, and spend time with family and friends.
