Maico Hearing Service
In 1969 Clarence Young and his son Roy opened Maico Hearing Service. It began as a small, home-based office in St. John’s. Now a third-generation family owned and operated clinic, it is run by Roy’s daughter, Audiologist, Karla Tucker. It is the only Audigy-Certified clinic in the province and now has 3 permanent locations in St. John’s, Grand Falls-Windsor and Corner Brook, as well as a satellite clinic in Harbour Grace.
From the clinic's quite modest beginnings as a father and son operation, it has since grown to 16 employees, including 7 Audiologists and 2 Hearing Instrument Specialists.
We are so blessed to serve the most wonderful clientele across the province and are looking forward to seeing what the next 50 years of Maico Hearing Service will bring!
Thank you to everyone who came out to help us celebrate!
