To start, your audiologist will take you through one of our comprehensive hearing assessments to identify if hearing loss has contributed to your tinnitus symptoms. This will involve several in-depth tests to help us understand your current range of hearing and how your tinnitus symptoms may relate to other hearing concerns. If your hearing test shows that you have hearing loss along with tinnitus symptoms, we’ll offer advanced hearing aid technology as an effective way to manage it. In some cases, you can see an improvement in your tinnitus symptoms with properly tuned hearing aids alone. In other cases, more in-depth treatment may be required.
