Access Our Ongoing Service and Care
Maico offers a 1-year re-programming & service package for patients who have acquired hearing devices elsewhere and are looking for a long-term partner to help achieve optimal hearing performance. This package is also available for our current patients with devices that are outside of the 5-year hearing care package but are not quite ready for new devices at this time. It is important to maintain optimal performance, as better hearing is a journey, not a destination!
All services are provided by our expert hearing care providers, who have a high level of professional training and experience, with a variety of hearing aid technology. We will conduct a series of measurements, following the best evidence-based practices in audiology, to help you optimize the performance of your hearing aids.
Our Adoption/Extended Service Plan includes:
A case history review to understand your journey, hearing needs, & experience to-date
An otoscopic examination to evaluate your ear canal anatomy and health
Professional hearing aid cleaning, which includes suctioning the microphone & speaker openings
Gold-standard Real Ear Measurements of your hearing aids in your ears using microphones to determine whether your devices are programmed properly for you & your current hearing levels
Expert adjustments & fine-tuning of your hearing aids based on an up-to-date hearing test and your listening preferences
Cell phone pairing & app orientation as needed (with compatible devices/phones)
Access to drop-in hearing aid ‘clean & checks’ , as well as troubleshooting and support whenever you require help or have any questions
Loaner devices made available to you if yours require repair or replacement, ensuring that you are not without hearing aids
Investment: $200/device per year*
*Additional fees may apply for hearing aids that are out of the manufacturer warranty and require manufacturer parts/repairs. Our staff will verify all warranties and costs on your behalf.
